DA BUREAU is a team of architects driven by the desire to shape new values and aesthetic benchmarks to the environment, mentality, and life itself.
Our main principles are
1. Architectural approach to interiors design.
As our team’s members are mainly architects, we work primarily with volume andshape and secondly with decoration. We transfer grand architecture principles to interiors, considering them not as a space for decoration but a complete architectural object.
2. Storytelling in projects.
For each project, we formulate a unique figurative story that translates the client’s concept through visual means. We like to construct complex but readable images expressed in architectural and design language.
3. Turning the interior into a design object.
Since we pay attention not on the decor but the integrity of the full image, we use many custom elements and very few ready-made items. This principle also helps to support local Russian manufacturers, which is part of our sustainable mission.
4. We see our bureau as a promotion platform for young talents. We are a hierarchy-free collective of friends and passionate professionals, where can fulfill one’s potential without any limits for creativity. Listening to fresh-thinking talents is a crucial part of our culture.
Everything we do is driven by the collective desire to bring social impact through the work we sincerely love. That’s why our focus is the public spaces design, which can have much greater impact on people.
We support local young companies with cool ideas –by working with them free of charge, or investing in their projects.

UNDER THE SEA Sushi by DA – bureau
Under the Sea is a small sushi bar in the historical center of Saint – Petersburg. Our clients came to us with idea to make something unusual in visual and construction terms. They had only name of restaurant – Under the Sea and 110 sq.m. space in a historical bulding. It was our starting point.

THE THIRD PLACE pop-up yard by DA bureau
The THIRD PLACE space is housed in a historic mansion in the centre of St. Petersburg, where the Lopukhins and Naryshkin lived before the revolution; during the soviet era a railway museum was located here; the building has been abandoned for the past 15 years.

Seasons is a pop-up project located amidst glass apartment buildings in the heart of Ekaterinburg. Its main idea is to create an atmosphere of a quiet out-of-town vacation, tranquility and unity with nature.
