Project description from architecture firms Ezequiel Farca + Cristina Grappin:
Parque Reforma is an apartment in Mexico City surrounded by greenery, designed not to compromise the feeling of spaciousness and allow the possibility of creating more private areas through sliding doors.
The predominant use of wood creates warmth in an elegant and comfortable environment. Being an apartment for a single person, details such as common areas are dedicated to coexistence.
The amount of light used by the department thanks to the width of its windows reduces the use of electrical energy and a water purification system makes it suitable for consumption throughout the department.
This contemporary bachelors flat was designed to be flexible in order to meet the client’s frequently changing needs and lifestyle, while also reflecting a refined simplicity. Featuring spectacular panoramic views of Mexico City’s Chapultepec forest, the apartment’s interior architecture was designed to not compromise the feeling of amplitude and still allow for the possibility of creating more enclosed private areas through a series of sliding doors. The predominant use of wood generates a warm and comfortable environment in an otherwise sleek space.
