Project description from design firms Metamorphose
This interior is not about effect. It is about state of being.
The 121 m² apartment in the prestigious “Turgenev” club residence in Moscow unfolds as a layered composition where every detail contributes to a sense of inner balance.
Contemporary classicism gently transitions into the language of Art Deco. Not demonstratively. Not theatrically. But with restraint — through proportion, line, and tactile nuance.
Velvet and silk enter into dialogue with cool metal and solid stone. Cool green-turquoise tones converse softly with a golden-grey palette. Light is diffused, calm, almost meditative — it does not simply illuminate, it accompanies.

The living room is conceived almost as a stage. A chandelier reminiscent of theatrical spotlights introduces a subtle sense of drama, transforming the dining area into a natural point of attraction — a place designed for gathering, conversation, presence.
One of the bedrooms intentionally departs from the main palette. A black-and-white scheme creates a pause — a space where the interior stops speaking loudly and begins to whisper. Mosaic-like bedside tables and marble-veined textiles add a touch of refined precision.
Art in this project is not an accent. It is the compositional core. John Franzen’s mirrored work in the living room reflects not only the space, but its atmosphere. Christian Hevin’s painting in the hallway becomes a subtle prelude, while David Saborido’s artwork completes the intimate narrative in the bedroom. This is an interior for those who value beauty without display. Depth without excess. Aesthetic as a way of thinking.
