The customer came to us to update the interior of a private house near Minsk (Belarus). The main task of the project was to unload the interior as much as possible, adding air to it. Despite the fact that the interior was fresh enough, it was obsolete morally. We wanted something new, unusual, cozy. At first it was decided to move the kitchen and dining room to a new, finished building, thus increasing the area of the common room. A heavy, cumbersome concrete staircase was replaced by a lighter, elegant staircase made of a metal profile lined with natural wood. As a fence used curtains, piercing the house on all three floors. The main finishing material was a tree: the floor, the facades of furniture, the walls, and sometimes even the ceiling, everywhere we tried to apply the tree in one form or another. Our architects played on the contrast of warm and cold – the cold floor (tiles for concrete, parquet board in gray cool colors) are used next to the warm wood on the walls and in the furniture. The walls, painted in white, served as a background for filling the interior. The minimum presence of bright details can be found in the decor, interior and furniture.
Also, during the construction phase, the improvement of the site, the fence and the elements in the architecture of the house were completely redone. Construction was carried out in a very short time, since there was a break in 9 months. All the main works were done in less than six months.
