Shifting Objects – Shifting Values
As part of 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen (18–20 June 2025), Frankfurt-based design studio Jonathan Radetz presented the exhibition “Shifting Objects – Shifting Values“, in collaboration with World Design
Capital Frankfurt RheinMain 2026 (WDC 2026).
Marking the Frankfurt RheinMain region‘s appointment as the 2026 World Design Capital, this exhibition, curated by Jonathan Radetz, brought together German and Danish designers and craftspeople in a transnational dialogue. It addressed key themes of the WDC 2026, such as sustainability, democratic design, and the potential of design to drive social change. Contemporary design approaches met traditional craft techniques and interdisciplinary perspectives in an open project space, while photographic works documented the interfaces between craft practice and the design process.

“Shifting Objects – Shifting Values” marks the beginning of a two-part exhibition series, the second part of which will take place in Frankfurt am Main in 2026 as part of the WDC 2026’s year-long programme.
In collaboration with World Design Capital Frankfurt RheinMain 2026 (WDC 2026).
