This 57 sq m apartment in the “Freedom” residential complex is designed in a modern classic style by Yana Yarasheva at 2025. This interior combines elements of traditional classics with modern trends, creating a fiery yet contemporary space using simple lines, natural materials, and a balanced color palette. The key elements of the style are a blend of classic and modern. Classical forms are used, but in a more simplistic execution, along with modern materials and technologies.
The apartment’s interior color palette is dominated by light, calm tones, shades of gray and beige, paired with rich blue and olive green. This professional approach visually expands the space, making it feel lighter and more airy. Each space has its own dominant color, but they don’t clash with each other, flowing seamlessly into one another. The kitchen-living room is decorated in a refined olive and dark blue. The bedroom continues the blue theme against a dusty gray-beige background, and the children’s room combines warm olive and brown. Together, they create a coherent color scheme, not a chaotic assortment of colors. Neutral colors are the foundation upon which all other shades shine. I used sophisticated taupe and cream tones that set a calm rhythm and allowed the vibrant colors to shine.
Classic elements in wall decoration, such as stucco, moldings, friezes, cornices and baseboards, are used in moderation, combined with minimalist furniture of modern shapes.
Much attention in this interior is paid to natural light, as well as the use of various types of modern designer lamps and chandeliers , which emphasize the elegance of the interior.
The interior of this apartment in a modern classic style strives to create a balanced space where the elegance of classicism is combined with the functionality and comfort of modern design.
