Project description from design firms Lemay
Located on the 15th floor of Montreal’s iconic Place Ville Marie, Accenture’s immersive office redefines the traditional workspace, seamlessly blending well-being with productivity in a strikingly innovative environment. With breathtaking design elements, vibrant pops of color, and an effortless connection to the pulse of the city, its 19,000-square-foot interior evokes a sense of playful sophistication. Neon accents, a pointillist skyline mural, and a bespoke felt ceiling that mirrors Place Ville Marie’s architectural grandeur, contribute to a space that is both functional and inspirational.

Upon entering, visitors are welcomed by a custom wall composed of 1,200 interactive trigonal prisms in Accenture’s signature company colors. This architectural feature allows natural light to cascade through the space, casting ever-changing reflections. More than just a visual element, it subtly reinforces the company’s deep connection to Montreal’s urban landscape, while echoing the forward momentum represented in Accenture’s iconic logo.

The office’s design was shaped through a deeply collaborative process, with discovery sessions involving both the company and its employees. The resulting space prioritizes employee well-being, while fostering a dynamic, forward-thinking culture. A striking meeting room, designed to evoke the sensation of a cloud floating above a distant horizon, pulls users in with its sense of weightlessness. The flooring beneath amplifies a feeling of movement, setting the stage for the innovative elements that unfold throughout the space. Customizable elements—colors, textures, and materials—evolve over time, while the space retains a timeless elegance through its classic aesthetic.

The office also offers a wealth of experiential touches, such as a view of Montreal’s celebrated landmark, Claude Cormier’s The Ring, framed perfectly by the office’s modern café. Communal hubs are infused with life through lush hanging gardens, adding natural beauty to the space. Curved corners effortlessly connect each area—be it the IT solutions bar, cozy seating lounges, or library shelving—ensuring a smooth and harmonious flow. With a resolute focus on LEED certification, the office’s distinctive design is a celebration of sustainability, offering vibrant spaces that not only serve as areas for socializing and informal meetings, but also as incubators for creative collaboration and brainstorming.
More than just a workspace, this new environment stands as a testament to Accenture’s unwavering commitment to technological innovation, sustainability, and the well-being of its Montreal community, setting a new standard for what the future of work can look like.
