Project description from design firms RE design buro
An elegant apartments for a big family: functional zoning, spaciousness, and harmony.
Our challenge was to create an airy, light-filled space that feels unmistakably like home—not a hotel lobby. We crafted a gentle architecture of tactile textures: fabric wall panels, a modular parquet layout, and a muted palette envelop the space in warmth, while the clients’ cherished art collection and sculptural objects infuse every corner with personal narrative.
In the bedroom, an elegant solution unfolds—a full-wall fabric panel system conceals a chameleon door that blends invisibly with the panels on one side and reveals itself as a glass pane harmonising with the corridor’s ensemble on the other. Engineering systems disappear seamlessly into the design: track lighting with integrated ventilation grilles preserves ceiling height without compromise.

Each room gains its own character through a singular colour accent: burgundy in the living area (inspired by the clients’ beloved tulip painting), emerald in the study, deep blue in the son’s bedroom. Here, minimalism is never cold—it breathes with warmth, intimacy, and meticulous attention to detail.
