Montana Furniture, the Danish leader in sustainable storage and furniture for private homes and contemporary workspaces, presents a series of new launches during 3daysofdesign 2026. Spanning colour, modularity and spatial design, Montana Furniture introduces Colour Archive Limited, a bold new interpretation of the Paradigm Modular Sofa, a relaunch of Montana Bathroom and a limited edition of Panton Wire in Tangerine. The launches are presented at the brand’s flagship store and showroom for 3daysofdesign from June 10–12.
Together, the launches reflect Montana Furniture’s enduring approach to modular design and colour as an integral part of the spaces we live in. From archive colour revivals and limited editions celebrating the 100th anniversary of Verner Panton to expressive furniture concepts and expanded bathroom solutions, each launch explores how thoughtful design can shape atmosphere, function and individuality across contemporary interiors.
Colour Archive Limited
Three colours reintroduced from the Montana Furniture archive
Montana Furniture introduces Colour Archive Limited, a curated selection of three hues revived from the Montana Furniture colour archive. The limited edition brings Montparnasse, Boulevard and Extreme Lilac back into the Montana System 1112 module for a defined period of June 2026 – June 2027.
Montana Furniture’s founder, Peter J. Lassen, drew inspiration from his longstanding friendship with Danish architect and designer Verner Panton when he introduced colour as a central element of the Montana System – not as decoration, but as an integral part of spatial design.
Selected from Montana Furniture’s extensive colour archive, the three revived shades reflect this enduring approach to colour. At Montana Furniture, colour is not treated as a trend or a timeless statement, but as something personal and spatial – shaped by the way it interacts with its surroundings.
Each colour introduces a distinct character. Montparnasse is deep and composed, creating contrast and anchoring a space. Boulevard brings warmth and balance with its complex mustard tone and subtle green undertones. Extreme Lilac adds brightness and energy, lifting surrounding colours with a playful, expressive presence.
Together, the three colours form a cohesive yet dynamic palette – a conversation between depth, warmth and lightness. Different personalities that reflect Montana Furniture’s enduring understanding of colour as something that interacts, contrasts and shapes the spaces we live in.
“The Colour Archive Limited launch brings renewed attention to how colours interact and shape a space,” says Joakim Lassen, CEO of Montana Furniture. “By bringing these shades back, we revisit an important part of our colour legacy and present it in a contemporary context.”
The three limited colours are available exclusively on the 1112 module and will be available in stores from June 2026.
Paradigm in Block Colour
A new expression of the modular sofa
Montana Furniture presents a new interpretation of the Paradigm Modular Sofa in a bold Colour Block edition. Defined by a composition of green and blue hues, each surface is expressed in its own colour.
Originally designed in 1969 by Erik Rasmussen, the design was acquired by Montana Furniture through a licence agreement with his family and reintroduced during 3daysofdesign 2025. Defined by its geometric clarity and modular logic, the design now enters a new expression where colour is brought to the forefront – not as surface, but as structure.
Each plane is assigned its own tone, emphasising edges, volumes and transitions. The Colour Block approach sharpens the geometry, creating a graphic and sculptural expression that shifts with the perspective. Confident and uncompromising, the result is a bold statement piece that stands apart. A sofa that does not blend in, but defines the space around it.
“Paradigm has a strong geometric identity, and this edition allows us to emphasise that through colour,” says Joakim Lassen, CEO of Montana Furniture. “By working with a palette of related tones, we highlight the structure of the design and create a more expressive and distinctive presence.” The Colour Block limited edition of Paradigm will be available in stores from September 2026 to June 2027.
Montana Bathroom Reimagined
New sizes, colours and expanded possibilities
Montana Furniture relaunches Montana Bathroom with updated dimensions across bathroom furniture, wall-mounted cabinets and mirror cabinets, alongside new countertop colours and hooks. The additions expand the series and offer greater flexibility across both compact and more spacious interiors, bringing Montana Furniture’s modular approach into the bathroom in new ways.
The Montana Bathroom series relaunches with a renewed focus on modularity, flexibility and cohesive bathroom solutions. At its core, the series is defined by modular compositions where storage, mirrors and washbasins come together in solutions tailored to individual spaces and needs. The relaunch builds on this foundation while expanding the possibilities for both subtle and more defined expressions across the full Montana Furniture colour palette.
“Montana Bathroom allows us to explore how colour and material can shape even the most functional spaces,” says Joakim Lassen, CEO of Montana Furniture. “With this relaunch, we wanted to create bathroom solutions that feel more integrated with the rest of the home – both functionally and visually.”
The new Montana Bathroom series will be available from September 2026.
Montana Bathroom Reimagined
New sizes, colours and expanded possibilities
Montana Furniture also marks the centenary of legendary Danish designer Verner Panton with a limited anniversary edition of Panton Wire in Tangerine. The vibrant, luminous orange reflects Panton’s fearless approach to colour and his enduring influence on contemporary design.
Originally designed in 1971, Panton Wire is a study in lightness and modularity. Defined by its geometric simplicity, the design functions both as storage and a sculptural element – equally suited for wall-mounted compositions and floor-standing arrangements. Its open structure allows light and colour to interact, creating dynamic expressions that shift with their surroundings.
Rendered in Tangerine, the design captures the essence of Panton’s experimental universe, where colour is not merely decorative but a defining spatial element. Bold yet refined, the new finish introduces a striking accent to both private and professional interiors, while maintaining the flexibility that characterises the Panton Wire system.
“The Tangerine edition highlights the expressive potential of Panton Wire and shows how colour can define a space,” says Joakim Lassen, CEO of Montana Furniture. “With this limited release, we celebrate Verner Panton’s bold vision and his pioneering approach to colour.”
The 100th Anniversary Limited Edition will be available in from 10 June 2026 for one year.
Montana Furniture’s presentations at 3daysofdesign 2026 reflect the brand’s continued exploration of modularity, colour and enduring design principles. Celebrating the 100th anniversary of Verner Panton through both Colour Archive Limited and the Panton Wire Tangerine edition, the launches highlight Montana Furniture’s longstanding dialogue with colour as a spatial and emotional element. Together with expressive new furniture concepts and expanded bathroom solutions, the launches demonstrate Montana Furniture’s commitment to creating adaptable, lasting designs that shape contemporary living spaces through individuality, function and colour.
